AbeBooks Channel Program: Policies and Performance Standards

The AbeBooks Channel Program allows US-based AbeBooks booksellers to list their inventory on Amazon.com.

Participating booksellers’ inventory is aggregated on Amazon.com under an AbeBooks branded Amazon Marketplace account. We forward orders to booksellers through the existing AbeBooks order processing system, including email notification.


To participate in the AbeBooks Channel Program, booksellers must:

  • Be US based, not already listing on Amazon.com, and with no existing ‘blocked’ account on Amazon.
  • Provide a valid Taxpayer Identification Number to AbeBooks. Taxpayer Identification information can be provided by clicking ‘My Tax Information’ in the ‘My Personal Information’ section of the Members Menu.
  • Have a minimum of 3 months as a seller with AbeBooks.com, with a 3 month completion rating of 90% or better.
  • Accept the AbeBooks Channel Program Agreement.
  • Accept the Amazon Seller Agreement.

Continued participation in the program is contingent upon maintaining a completion rate of 95% or better on Amazon orders, in addition to achieving a completion rate of 95% or better on AbeBooks.com. Participating sellers must also remain in compliance with all AbeBooks Channel Program and AbeBooks Bookseller policies.
