How do I Change My Account Information?

All of your personal information can be easily updated from the Members Menu. You can edit any or all of the following:

  • Your business name and/or contact name.
  • Your address and telephone number.
  • Your email address and website URL (if you have one).
  • Your Terms of Sale and Shipping Terms.
  1. Sign on to your AbeBooks account with your email address and password.
  2. Click [Account Details] in the ‘My Personal Information’ section of the Menu.
  3. Scroll down the page to locate the field you’d like to change.
  4. Delete the old information and replace it with the new information.
  5. Click the [Update] button at the bottom of the page.

Depending on which fields you have edited, your updated information can take from a few minutes up to 2 days to appear online.

Important Notes:

  • AbeBooks Bookseller Policy requires that every bookseller have valid contact information associated with their account, including a telephone number at which you can be reached.
  • You can list a P.O. box as your mailing/shipping address as long as you also provide a physical address on your Banking Information page. Failure to provide a physical address may result in the failure of EFT payments to you from AbeBooks.   • Terms of Sale and Shipping Terms must be in line with AbeBooks Policy.

Changing Your Password:

  1. Sign on to your AbeBooks account with your email address and password.
  2. Click [My Password] in the ‘My Personal Information’ section of the Menu.
  3. Enter your current password and your new password twice.
  4. Click the [Update] button.

You’ll see a Success! message once we’ve saved the changes.
