All of your personal information can be easily updated from the Members Menu. You can edit any or all of the following:
- Your business name and/or contact name.
- Your address and telephone number.
- Your email address and website URL (if you have one).
- Your Terms of Sale and Shipping Terms.
- Sign on to your AbeBooks account with your email address and password.
- Click [Account Details] in the ‘My Personal Information’ section of the Menu.
- Scroll down the page to locate the field you’d like to change.
- Delete the old information and replace it with the new information.
- Click the [Update] button at the bottom of the page.
Depending on which fields you have edited, your updated information can take from a few minutes up to 2 days to appear online.
Important Notes:
- AbeBooks Bookseller Policy requires that every bookseller have valid contact information associated with their account, including a telephone number at which you can be reached.
- You can list a P.O. box as your mailing/shipping address as long as you also provide a physical address on your Banking Information page. Failure to provide a physical address may result in the failure of EFT payments to you from AbeBooks. For more detailed information, please see Physical Address Requirement for North American Booksellers.
- Terms of Sale and Shipping Terms must be in line with AbeBooks Policy.
Changing Your Password:
- Sign on to your AbeBooks account with your email address and password.
- Click [My Password] in the ‘My Personal Information’ section of the Menu.
- Enter your current password and your new password twice.
- Click the [Update] button.
You’ll see a Success! message once we’ve saved the changes.
