The AbeBooks Channel Program Introduction

Welcome to the AbeBooks Channel Program – the program that allows eligible US-based AbeBooks booksellers to list their inventory on Amazon.com.

Program Overview:

Participation Requirements:

Seller requirements for participation in the AbeBooks Channel Program are as follows:

  • You must be a US seller, not already listing on Amazon.com and without an existing ‘blocked’ account with Amazon.
  • You must have provided a valid Taxpayer Identification Number within your AbeBooks account. To do so, click ‘My Tax Information’ in the ‘My Personal Information’ section of the Members Menu.
  • You must have been selling on AbeBooks.com for a minimum of 3 months, and have a 3 month completion rating of 90% or better.
  • You must accept the AbeBooks Channel Program Agreement.
  • You must accept the Amazon Seller agreement.

Your continued participation in the program will be contingent upon maintaining a 95% or better completion on Amazon orders, in addition to improving completion on AbeBooks.com to 95% or better.

Program participants must adhere to the AbeBooks Channel Program Policies and Performance Standards.

How the Program Works:

You can upload information relating to your titles, including pricing, to AbeBooks in the usual manner. We’ll then forward that information to the AbeBooks Marketplace account on Amazon.com. You can manage your listings through your Abebooks account. Amazon shipping rates (Standard and Expedited) will apply to all orders on Amazon.com. Amazon will handle payment processing, and we’ll pay you and apply any fees and charges, through your Abebooks account.

We’ll aggregate your listings on Amazon.com, together with those of other sellers under the AbeBooks branded Amazon Marketplace account. We’ll forward orders to you through the existing AbeBooks order processing system, including email notification.

You will be required to confirm orders after the item has been shipped. Tracking information is required for all expedited orders. Orders are confirmed via our order processing page.
